We begin our last theme this week "Ready for Kindergarten." We are concentrating on letters and blending sounds. Our Alpha Friend is Larry Lion Ll for "letter." We will begin Show-and-Tell by the end of week. Each student is to bring his/her favorite book for the teacher to read.
We are working on assessments with the students. We will send home a final progress report the last week of school. Please make sure you stop by the classroom and look at the bulletin board. There are lots of activities this month.
We are asking each family to donate $5 toward our Family Field Day on Friday, May 22nd. More information to come!
Classroom party information will be posted by the end of the week. Be sure to sign up if your child is celebrating a birthday in May, June, or July.
