In our theme this week we will learn about animals on land and sea. We will talk about ocean animals and safari animals. We will finish our work on letter Aa and the move to Zelda Zebra Zz.
We will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day with a special treat and some fun projects. Please have your child wear green on Tuesday. We will also learn about St. Patrick.
We are working hard on letter identification, number recognition, syllables, rhyming, and beginning sounds. Please work with your child at home to reinforce what they are learning at school.
Parent/Teacher conferences for K-8 begin Tuesday. Tuesday thru Friday are 12:30 dismissal days. The book fair begins tomorrow. Our class will be going on Tuesday to preview books. We will send home the title of the your child's favorite book so you can purchase it in the library.
The Kindergarten Informational Night is this Wednesday night at 6:30pm. Please plan to come and learn about kindergarten and meet the teacher. There will be a winner of a "free registration" for those who attend.
Registration for Preschool begins tomorrow and I sent home Summer registration last week (blue paper). Please see me if you have any questions.
