As we continue through Advent, we are celebrating special Feast days. On Friday, we celebrated St. Nicolas Day. The students were very excited to receive treats in their shoes. On Monday, we celebrate the Immaculate Conception-that of our Blessed Mother's. Our students will be bringing up the gifts during the Mass. We will also be celebrating Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12th!
This week our Alpha Friend is Jumping Jill Jj for Jesus! We will continue our Advent Storybook, work on Christmas projects, and rehearse the Christmas play. More information will be going out this week regarding the Christmas program. Please look in your child's file box every day.
We will be having pizza on the Friday, December 19th. I am asking every family to donate $1 for the pizza. We will provide drinks and cookies.
As we begin the hustle and bustle of Christmas, don't forget to take a few minutes to reflect on all of your blessings. I will be talking to the children about their blessings and we will be writing special letters to Santa as the post office, in collaboration with Macy's, are donating a $1 for each letter received to the "Make a Wish" Foundation.
