This week in our theme, "In the City, In the Country" we will talk about markets, harvests, and transportation in the city. Our Alpha Friend is Vinny Volcano Vv for Vehicles.
We will continue to identify rhyming words.
In Religion, we will be talking about Thanksgiving and how we have been blessed by God.
This week, we will be celebrating November birthdays on Wednesday.
On Thursday, we will be having our Thanksgiving Feast. We will be wearing our Indian costumes. We will join Miss C's class and eat with the pilgrims.
On Friday, we will be attending the Thanksgiving prayer service at 8:15am.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding upcoming events. When we return from vacation, we will begin Advent. We will be participating in the Immaculate Conception Mass on December 8th. A note will go home by the end of the week about Mass.
As we enter in to the holiday season, we suspend our Houghton Mifflin curriculum and get ready for Christmas. This is a very fun and busy time of the year. Please remember to write your child's name on every jacket/sweater brought to school. Please make sure that the extra clothing at school is weather appropriate.
This week we will be assembling the shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Thank you for being so generous to children in need!
