In week 3 of "My Family, My Community" we will concentrate on learning about community helpers. We will talk about which community we live in. Our Alpha Friend is Pippa Pig Pp. We are continuing our lessons on rhyming.
In science we will learn more about pumpkins.
In religion, we will discuss how Jesus was part of a family.
In math, we are counting to 20 and learning one-to-one correspondence.
This week we will be going to the library on Tuesday for a Book Fair Preview. A wish list will go home with the name of a book your child chose during our time at the library. The book can be purchased at the library or online.
Parent/Teacher conferences begin Wednesday. Reminder notices of your scheduled conference went out Friday and are in your child's file box.
