This week in our theme, "Our 5 Senses," we will use our senses to taste apples, smell different scents, and work on listening. Our schedule is going to change a bit as we see a need to work in small groups and then support students while working in centers. Our new schedule will be posted in the classroom this week.
In math, we will be working on patterns, especially color patterns. We are learning shapes and colors.
In science, we will be learning about apples and the life cycle of an apple tree. We will also talk about Fall as it begins Monday. Hopefully, that means cooler weather and some rain!
In religion, we will talk about our Guardian Angels and will watch a very cute movie about St. Michael the Arch Angel. The preschool is also responsible for providing St. Vincent de Paul lunches on Friday. A lunch bag with a note attached explaining these lunches will go home Wednesday.
Our Alpha Friend this week is Ozzie Octopus Oo. We continue to work on syllables of words.
Please work with your child at home on the letters of his/her name. Use books, newspapers, etc for them to find letters in their names.
